Aji and Fazila came to the UK to continue their studies and work but missed the freshness and vibrancy of south Indian food and had a dream to bring Kerala food to the people of Chelmsford.

They opened the Live Dosa Market Stall in 2013 and it was an instant hit with the locals, who would queue up daily for their dosa fix.

Live Dosa restaurant opened in 2014 and has continued to serve south Indian favourite dishes to the city dwellers. Thanks to loyal locals and the energy of a dedicated team, the restaurant has been a great success, recently described by one restaurant reviewer as serving ‘the best curry I’ve eaten outside of South India.’
